🔍 Overview
Shivling Peak, often dubbed the “Matterhorn of the Himalayas”, rises sharply at 6,543 meters and is considered one of the most aesthetically beautiful peaks in India. Located in the Gangotri Glacier region of Uttarakhand, this technical peak expedition is both a spiritual and mountaineering milestone for climbers.
This expedition demands alpine climbing skills, glacier travel, ice/snow/rock ascent capability, and high-altitude endurance. The peak lies in proximity to Gaumukh, the origin of the holy Ganga, adding a sacred aura to the climb.
📅 Day-Wise Itinerary & Description
🗓️ Day 1: Arrive in Gangotri (3,048 m)
Travel from Dehradun/Haridwar to Gangotri
